Funeral Director Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) Mrs. Betty McBrayer Johnson age 65 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Wellstar Paulding Emergency Room. Mrs. Betty Johnson was born in Cedartown, GA on July 22, 1946 to loving parents the late Mr. Coy Eugene McBrayer and Mrs. Maudie Elizabeth Cole McBrayer. Betty was employed as a spinner for Shaw Industries. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She enjoyed Fishing, quilting, sewing, crafts, bingo and video games. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years Mr. Charles T. Johnson; three daughters Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Freeman, Ms. Charlotte Gail Johnson, and Mrs. Sheila Mae Johnson; two sons Mr. John Travis Johnson, and Mr. Tommy Dwayne Johnson; one adopted son Mr. Fredrick Glen Johns all of Dallas, GA; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother Mr. & Mrs. Roy (Linda) McBrayer of Dallas, GA; many nieces and nephews as well as other beloved family members and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Johnson will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 2 pm with the Reverend Eugene McBrayer and Reverend James Biddy officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Serving as pall bearers will be Tony Jacobs, Donnie Green, Freddy Johns, Mark Elsberry, Chester Luallen, Charles Luallen, David Lopez and Tim Upton. Interment will follow at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 4 – 9 pm and Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 9 am until the time of service.
