Odessia Lee Glass, age 98, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. She was born in Carrollton, GA, March 27, 1913, and was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Dobbs, mother, Alice Lee Dobbs, and husband, Rufus Glass. Mrs. Glass was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law, William R. Glass of Dallas, GA, Larry Glass of Douglasville, GA and John & Ida Glass of Powder Springs, GA; daughters, Amy Glass-Green of Douglasville, GA, Linda P. Glass of Dallas, GA, Evelyn Hightower of Dallas, GA and Bertha Mae Dodds of Dallas, GA; forty-two grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Klenneth Montgomery and Reverend Arthur McCarver officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, GA. Mrs. Glass will lie-in-state at the church on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
