Mr. William Jerry Peacock age 72 of Dallas Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

 

Mr. William Jerry Peacock was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. on August 3, 1939 to loving parents the late Mr. Willie Sylvester Peacock and Mrs. Bonnie Easter Cook Peacock. He was also preceded in death by his sister Leavoda Hood and infant sister Linda Lou Peacock.

 

Jerry was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He loved his home and family.

 

Mr. William Jerry Paeacock is survived by wife Mrs. Dorothy "Nadine" Peacock of Dallas, GA. two daughters Louise and Alan Lane of Cartersville, GA. Lori and Danny Bone of Dallas, GA. four grandchildren Melissa Lane of Adairsville, GA. Curtis and Theresa Vann of Rome, GA. Anna Bone of Dallas, GA. Jarah Bone of Dallas, GA. Two step great grandchildren Chloe and Olivia Vann of Rome, GA. Two brothers, Derry and Sonja Peacock of Austell, GA. and Richard and Laural Peacock of Dallas, GA. Two sisters, Glenda Underwood of Rydal and Barbara Shead of Florida. Many nieces and nephews, as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

 

Funeral Services for Mr. William Jerry Peacock will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28, 2011at 2 PM with the Reverend Warren Causey officiating. Music will be provided by Willard Walker, Olen and Helen Walker. Serving as pall bearers will be William Jarah Bone, Alan Lane, Curtis Vann, Jason Clarke, Mitchell Jenkins and Keith Peacock. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 3 – 9 pm and Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 9 am until the time of service.
