Mr. Terrell Fredrick Wigley

Mr. Terrell Fredrick Wigley age 79 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Wellstar Community Hospice.

 

 

 

Mr. Terrell Wigley was born in Dallas, GA on December 3, 1932 to loving parents the late Mr. Clarence Franklin Wigley and Mrs. Cora Idell Finch Wigley. He was also preceded in death by one sister Mrs. Reba Meeks and brother in law Mr. Edward Meeks.

 

 

 

Mr. Wigley worked for a short time as a clerk at Southern Railroad. He later went to work for Georgia Power where he spent 38 years and retired as a District Meter Supervisor. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Forest Park. Terrell was a farmer and animal lover. He enjoyed model trains and steam locomotives.

 

 

 

Mr. Terrell Wigley is survived by his beloved wife Mrs. Myrtle Wigley of Dallas, GA; three sons Mr. Stephen Wigley of Rome, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Daryl (Jeaneen) Wigley of Dallas, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Chris (Vivian) Wigley of Valdosta, GA; three grandchildren Mr. & Mrs. Chris (Brinnae) Wigley Jr. of Wyoming, Delaware, Mr. & Mrs. Lee (Amber) Wigley of Winder, GA, and Ms. Heidi Wigley of Valdosta, GA; four great grandchildren Jayden Wigley and Cody Wigley both of Winder, GA, and Alyssa and Dexter Wigley both of Wyoming, Delaware; one sister and brother in law Mr. & Mrs. Merl (Linda) Jordan of Dallas, GA; many nieces, nephews and other beloved family members and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mr. Terrell Wigley will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home of December 27, 2011 at 2 pm with the Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts and Reverend Tim Miller officiating. Music will be provided by Chase Tibbitts. Serving as pallbearers will be Spencer Miller, Randy Meeks, Travis Jordan, Michael Collins, Dennis Tibbitts, and Lee Wigley. Interment will follow at High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 4:30 – 9 pm and Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 9 am until the time of service.

 

 

 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Dallas, GA building fund.
