Funeral Director Posted November 20, 2011 Report Share Posted November 20, 2011 Mr. Larry Joe Ayers age 70 of Dallas Georgia passed away on November 20, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Ayers was born in Cleveland, GA on May 21, 1941 to loving parents the late Mr. Lige Cornelius Ayers and Mrs. Pansy Elizabeth Reddish Ayers. He is also preceded in death by four brothers Mr. Bobby Ayers, Mr. Jerry Ayers, Mr. Billy Ayers, and Mr. Butch Ayers; two sisters Ms. Judy Ayers, and Ms. Darlene Ayers. Mr. Larry Ayers is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Mrs. Janice Gurley Ayers of Dallas, GA; one son Mr. Keith Ayers of Dallas, GA; two daughters Mr. & Mrs. Al (Mandy) Baulding, and Mr. & Mrs. Emmitt (Beth) Robinson both of Hiram, GA; six grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. Gail George and Mrs. Patricia Patterson both of Cedartown, GA; one brother Mr. Steve Ayers of Cedartown, GA; several nieces and nephews as well as many other beloved family members and friends. Larry was employed by Zep Manufacturing for 27 years. He was a member of the Dallas Masonic Lodge #182 for 25 years. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Ayers will be held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 2 pm with the Reverend Derrick Fowler and Reverend Mike Wheeler officiating. Music will be provided by Perry Cordell, Tim Haygood, Bryce Lee, and the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Choir. Serving as pall bearers will be J.R. Smith, Earl Carden, Jimmy Dukes, Robert Morgan, Matt Gurley, and Ricky Watson. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery where he will have a Masonic Graveside Service. The family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 3 – 9 pm and Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 9 am until we leave in procession for Mt.
