Mrs. Judy Marie Black Laitinen age 62 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on November 1, 2011 at her residence.

 

 

 

Mrs. Judy Marie Black Laitinen was born in Cartersville, Georgia on October 11, 1949 to loving parents Mr. Neal Black and Mrs. Louise Cochran Black. She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Paul Laitinen who passed away in 2009 and one brother Mr. Kenneth Neal Black who passed away in 1984.

 

 

 

Mrs. Laitinen was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas. She attended the University of West Georgia where she majored in Psychology and was a member of the Phi Sigma Delta Sorority. She was actively involved in TOPS “Taking Off Weight Sensibly”. She loved her dog “Snauzer”.

 

 

 

Mrs. Judy Marie Black Laitinen is survived by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Neal and Louise Black of Dallas, Georgia; two brothers , Charlie Black and Mr. & Mrs. Ben (Sandy) Black both of Dallas, Georgia; Nieces, Jessica and Kellie Black of Dallas, Georgia; Nephews, Neal and Aaron Black of Dallas, Georgia; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Marie Black Laitinen will be held in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 4 PM with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Pallbearers include Neal Black, Aaron Black, Nick Bell, Sonny Black, Jim Black, and Danny Black. Interment will follow at the Dallas Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Dallas Building Fund.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2 PM until the time of the service at 4 PM.
