Clark Funeral Home Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) Walter DeHosse, Jr., age 59, of Dallas, GA (formerly of Bicknell, IN), passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011. He was born October 30, 1952, in Bicknell, IN, to Walter & Clara DeHosse, Sr. A sister, Danielle Sullivan, preceded him in death. He graduated from North Knox High School in 1970, and was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for the City of Smyrna Post Office as a letter carrier for more than 25 years. Mr. DeHosse was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Dianne M. DeHosse; daughter, Erica DeHosse; parents, Walter & Clara DeHosse, Sr. of Bicknell, IN; brothers & sister-in-law, Tony DeHosse, Roy DeHosse and Pierre DeHosse & wife, Renee; sister, Michelle Winegar; nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 12:00 PM, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: St. Vincent de Paul Society, 651 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132. Gone Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 I will miss his laugh and gentle personality. Walt was a truly good and honorable man. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He was out riding his bike on the Silver Comet Trail with friends on his birthday and suffered a heart attack that took his life.
