Mrs. Melissa Carol Brown Ballew, age 46 of Hiram Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at her residence.

 

 

 

Mrs. Melissa Ballew was born on April 30, 1965 to loving parents Mr. James Brown and Mrs. Jeanette Townsend Brown Norton.

 

 

 

Melissa is survived by her loving husband Mr. Jeff Ballew of Hiram, GA; daughter Mrs. Lauren Ballew Burden of Madison, GA; son Mr. Samuel Ballew of New Georgia, GA; sister Mrs. Susan Amos of New Georgia, GA; one grandchild Jasper Burden; two step grandchildren Joseph Konicki and Tristen Burden; mother in law Mrs. Iris Ballew of Hiram, GA; maternal grandmother Mrs. Stella Townsend of Dallas, GA; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. Mrs. Ballew was a homemaker. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

 

 

 

She is preceded in death by her infant son Matthew Ballew and father in law Mr. Harry Ballew.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Melissa Ballew will be held at New Georgia Baptist Church on November 1, 2011 at 1 pm with Reverend Keith Stell officiating. Susan Arnold will serve as organist for the service. Pallbearers include Michael Seals, Jamie Townsend, Greg Townsend, Cameron Amos, Andrew Olsen, and Joseph Konicki. Interment will follow at New Georgia Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2011 from 4 – 9 pm, and Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 9 am until we leave in procession for New Georgia Baptist Church. Mrs. Ballew will lie in state at the church from 12:30 until the time of service.
