Bruce Edward Estes, age 59, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. He was born in Dallas, GA, August 15, 1952, and was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Frances Estes and a sister, Rita McClarity. Mr. Estes was a U. S. Army veteran and worked for Lockheed-Martin for 31 years. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Ruby P. Estes; son & daughter-in-law, Mack & Cherie Estes of Hiram, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Angela & Chad Tittle of Douglasville, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Andrew Estes of Dallas, GA, Frank Estes of Douglasville, GA, Kenneth & Sandra Estes of Dallas, GA, Timmy Estes of Douglasville, GA, Ronnie & Wendy Estes of Dallas, GA and Gary & Altheara Baulding of Powder Springs, GA; sisters & brothers-in-law, Edna Montgomery of Dallas, GA, Debbie & David Price of Hiram, GA, Wendy & Michael McClure of Hiram, GA, and Lutheria & Gary Kimble of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Destiny Tittle, Kamyla Estes and Staciona Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 11:00 AM, from Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Arthur McCarver and Pastor Klenneth Montgomery officiating. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 10:00 AM until the service time. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM, from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, with military honors. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
