Joey Ruff, age 50, of Dallas passed from this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. He was born on March 2, 1961 to Hoyt E. Ruff and Shelva Jones Ruff in Dallas, GA. Joey was a mechanic with Priest Automotive in Dallas, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Isabell Ruff, Florence Jones Lambert, Dixie Jones and J. Henry Henderson and his brother, Mitchell Wayne Ruff.

Joey is survived by his parents, Hoyt and Harriet Henderson Ruff and Shelva Ballard and Thomas Renfroe. He is also survived by his son, Joseph Hoyt Ruff of Knoxville, TN and his brothers, Wesley Ruff and Philip Ruff of Dallas, GA, his grandmother, Margaret Henderson and his fiance Paula Fuller.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. from Dallas Memory Gardens with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts officiating.
