Holdridge

Mr. Horace Olen Holdridge, age 76, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2005. He was born on May 8, 1929 in Carroll Co. to the late Herbert and Cora King Holdridge. He retired as an inspector with General Motors after 35 years of service and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Holdridge was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Head Holdridge.

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Curtis Hancock of Dallas, Rene and Greg Dollar of Powder Springs and Patti and Phillip Kirby of Dallas; a sister and brother-in-law, Sara Nell and Bradley Milam of Carrollton; eight grandchildren; special friend, Pauline Brown of Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Glenn Townsend and Reverend Ricky Eaves officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Steven Enloe, Clint Kirby, Dick Mooneyham, Charlie Kirby, Gordon Kirby and Dwayne Hewett serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
