Funeral Services for Mrs. Lillie Catherine Jones, age 85, of Dallas, Ga. will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011, 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

 

Rev. Derrick Fowler will officiate.

 

Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be Wednesday, June 22, 2011, 2:00-8:00 P.M.

 

Mrs. Jones was married to the late Mr. William Alonzo Jones.

 

Mrs. Jones was retired from Public Schools where she served as Lunch Room Manager.

 

Mrs. Jones is survived by: Daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby (Jackie) Duncan of Athens, Ga.; Daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Peggy) Holmes of Dallas, Ga.; Grandchildren, Clark Duncan, Dana Duncan, Joe and Kerry Lee, Michael and Karen Lanzi; Great Grandchildren, Jeffrey Lawrence, Cameron Holmes, Micaela Lanzi, Bryce Lee and Sam Lee; Brother, Mr. Billy Atcheson of Dallas, Ga.; Brother, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. (Vera) Atcheson of Carrollton, Ga.; Sister, Mrs. Doris Bickers of Dallas, Ga.; Sister in Law, Mrs. Katie Jones of Dallas, Ga. Brother in Law, Mr. and Mrs. Lendell (Selena) Jones of Doraville, Ga.; Brother in Law, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell (Roberta) Jones of Lilburn, Ga.; Nieces and Nephews.

 

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by: Husband, Mr. Alonzo Jones; Grandson, Mr. Brent Holmes; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry (Lucille Holland) Atcheson; Brother, Mr. Earl Atcheson.
