Clark Funeral Home Posted June 12, 2011 Report Share Posted June 12, 2011 Terry “J.T” Sorrells, age 68, of Dallas, passed away on June 11, 2011. He was born on December 29, 1942, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Jason Parham Sorrells. He was employed with Lockheed as an inspector for 34 years and was a member of Cross Plains Christian Church. Survivors include wife, Annette Sorrells of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Tammy Sorrells of Knoxville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Anissa & Michael Smith of Hattiesburg, MS; mother, Evelyn Sorrells of Dallas; niece, Brandie Holcomb of Acworth; grandchildren, Shaun & Erin Burt of Hattiesburg, MS, Ethan Burt of Hattiesburg, MS, Gunner Smith of Hattiesburg, MS, John Terrell Smith of Hattiesburg, MS, and Joey Wollen, SR of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Anna Marie Burt of Hattiesburg, MS, and Joey Wollen, JR of Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dick Hollis officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. We grew up together in our church and went to school together. Terry was an awesome man, never heard him say a cross word about anyone. Praying for the entire family. We love you guys!
