Mary Jewell Gray

Mary Jewell Gray, age 97, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was born in Fulton County, GA, January 22, 1914 and was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Olin Landrum and Pearl Manning Landrum; her husband, Chester Lee Gray, Jr.; and a son Chester Wendell Gray. Mary was a retired nurse with the City of Atlanta School System with 25 years service and a member of Fortified Hills Baptist Church, Dallas, GA.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Gray, Dallas, GA; brother, Carl Landrum, Hapeville, GA; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11:00AM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dewey Davidson officiating. Interment to follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 5-8pm.
