Ida Mae Wiley, age 81, of Hiram, GA, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. She was born in Paulding County, September 22, 1929, and was preceded in death by her father, George Claude Hales; mother, Hattie Victoria Cole Hales; and husband, Herbert Clay Wiley. Mrs. Wiley was a beautician for 40 years and retired from Lockheed-Martin after 15 years of service. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law, Mike & Sharon Bowman of Tallapoosa, GA and Cary Bowman of Hiram, GA; daughter, Melanie Gunter of Dallas, GA; brother & sister-in-law, George Claude Hales, Jr. & wife, Virginia of Hiram, GA; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 1, 2011, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 30, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
