Mr. Larry Kenneth Ray

Mr. Larry Kenneth Ray age 64, of Dallas Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at his residence.

 

 

 

Larry was born on December 26, 1946 in Cartersville, GA to Wilson Devas Ray and Colleen Videssa Self Ray. He worked as a Riveter for Lockheed Martin. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and classical music.

 

 

 

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Mrs. Shelby Ray of Dallas; one son Mr. James Calvin Ray; one daughter Miss Carrie Allison Ray both of Dallas; mother and stepdad Mr. & Mrs. Joe (Colleen) Barton of Adairsville; one sister Ms. Cheryl Ray of Dallas; two aunts and uncles Sue and J.E. Tumlin of Acworth, and Mrs. Bobbie McAbee of Cartersville, and Robert Shelley of Louisville, KY numerous cousins and many other beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Mr. C.C. Thomason who passed away on November 13, 1997.

 

 

 

The body of Mr. Ray will be cremated with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
