Clark Funeral Home Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) Hardy Young, age 28, of Douglasville, GA, formerly of Dallas, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011. He was born in Atlanta, GA, September 5, 1982, to Penne Young and the late, Jonathan Hardy Young, Sr. He was a 2003 graduate of Hiram High School and a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Dallas, GA. Survivors include his mother, Penne Young & her fiancé, Doug Penecost of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Virginia Irene Young & her fiancé, Charles Robinson of Dallas, GA; grandmother & step-grandfather, Carolyn & Dorsey Levell of Springfield, MO; grandfathers, Bill Nichols of Clayton, GA, and Bill Young of Richardson, TX; grandmother, Tricia Piper of Decatur, GA; house parent, Marcus Bryant of Douglasville, GA; and several cousins. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 20, 2011, at 2:00 PM, from Hope United Methodist Church, with Reverend Frank Bernat officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX next week. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Hope United Methodist Church, 1970 Marietta Highway, Dallas, GA 30157. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
