Funeral Director Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 Mr. William Kirby Barber, age 62 of Dallas, GA passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Barber was born on January 30, 1949 at Douglasville, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Nolis Barber and Mrs. Mattie Lee Waters. Mr. Barber served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Barber enjoyed hunting, working on cars and spending time with his son. Mr. Barber was a member of the Local Carpenter Union. Mr. Barber is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joyce Barber of Hiram, GA. Three daughters, Suzanne Bond, Michelle Cantrell, Melissa Conner all of Dallas, GA. One son, Dwayne Barber of Dallas, GA. One sister, Teresa Holder of Roopville, GA. One brother, Keith Barber of Dallas, GA. Six grandchildren, Beth Cantrell, Tyler Cantrell, Austin Conner, Alyssa Cantrell, Skyler Witcher, Madison Bond all of Dallas, GA. Many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mr. Barber is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mr. William Nolis Barber and Mrs. Mattie Lee Waters Barber, one daughter Sherry Haling. Funeral services for Mr. William Kirby Barber will be conducted on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 3PM in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral with Rev. Jewel Cole and Derrick Waters officiating. Pall bearers will include Danny Harris, Steve Trader, Larry Thackston, Wayne Womack, Todd Haling, Danny Lancaster. Honorary Pall bearers will be Joey Ingram and Charles Holder. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery, Hiram, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 2 PM – 9 PM and Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 9 AM– 3 PM.
