Glen Knowles

Glen Knowles, age 67, of Rockmart, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011. He was born on June 26, 1943, in Palatka, FL, to the late Park and Nettie Knowles. Mr. Knowles was a salesman for 34 years at Colonial Baking Company and was a member of the Salvation Army.

 

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Judy Knowles of Rockmart; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian & Shelly Knowles of Rockmart, Shane & Tonya Knowles of Dallas, and Todd & Cindye Knowles of Rockmart; daughter and son-in-law, Regan & Andy Hammitt of Fruithurst, AL; brother, Claude Knowles of Moncks Corner, S.C.; thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six nieces, and 10 nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 6, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
