Mr. Wallace Maynard Dye age 65 of Acworth Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011.

 

 

 

Mr. Wallace Dye was born on March 7, 1945 in Marietta, GA to loving parents the late Mr. William Wayne Dye and Mrs. Willa Mae Meeler Dye. He was also preceded in death by one brother Mr. Ed Dye.

 

 

 

Mr. Dye worked as the manager of a grocery store and was self-employed as a painter. He enjoyed cooking and bird watching. Animals of all kind brought him joy. He loved God and spent many hours studying the Bible. Mr. Dye loved his family and will be missed by many.

 

 

 

Mr. Wallace Dye is survived by his beloved wife Mrs. Kathy Dye of Acworth, GA; two daughters Mr. & Mrs. David (Pamela) Foley of Marietta, GA and Ms. Cheree Dye of Cartersville, GA; three sons Mr. Harold Brewer of Huntsville, AL, Mr. & Mrs. Jeff (Sherry) Dye of Stockbridge, GA, and Mr. Charles Dye of Acworth, GA; three grandchildren Mr. Brandon Foley, Miss Crystale Foley, and Mr. Kevin Foley all of Marietta, GA; two great grandchildren Miss Katlin Foley and Miss Faith Foley both of Marietta, GA; several nieces, nephew, and cousins as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mr. Wallace Dye will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 3 pm with Miss Cheree Dye and Mr. Charles Dye officiating. Music will be provided by Melissa McCrary. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mineral Bluff, GA on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 1 pm.

 

 

 

Visitation Services for Mr. Wallace Dye will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 3 – 9 pm and Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 9 am until the service begins at 3 pm.
