William A. Clark

Mr. William Albert Clark, age 70 of Rockmart, GA. passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 at WellStar Cobb Hospital.

 

 

 

Mr. Clark was born on September 21, 1940 in Angelus, S.C. the son of the late Mr. David Ray Clark and Mrs. Annie Bell Cunningham. Mr. Clark was self- employed as a heavy equipment operator. He was a treasure hunter and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed playing Santa Clause at Christmas time.

 

 

 

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Sue Griffith Clark, four daughters, Monique Adair of California, Teresa Porter of North Carolina, and Samantha Scott of Rockmart, GA. Kelly (Jonathan) Post of North Carolina. Three sons William A. (Diane) Clark II of Dallas, GA. Whit (Megan) Clark of Powder Springs, GA. Joseph Bryan (Ann) Scott of Dallas, GA. Two brothers, Mody Clark of Jefferson, South Carolina and David Ray “Jiggs” Clark of McBee , South Carolina. Thirteen Grand Children, many nieces, nephew and beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral service for Mr. William Albert Clark will be held on Wednesday, February 09,2011at 11:00AM at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Turner officiating. Pall Bearers will include Benjamin Hedges, Rod Clark, Whit Clark, Lamar Clark, Brian Scott and Ty Pratt. Interment will follow at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 5PM to 9PM. and Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 9AM until time to leave for the Church.
