Clark Funeral Home Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) Sarah Voyles Shipp, age 83, of Mableton, GA, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011. She was born August 21, 1927, in Dallas, GA, to the late Ephriam L. Voyles and the late, Pearlie C. Voyles. Mrs. Shipp was a homemaker and a member of Mableton First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Romaine J. R. Shipp of Mableton, GA; son, David Shipp of Mableton, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Sherry & Levon Mulkey of Rydal, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Lamar & Mary Voyles of Powder Springs, GA; grandchildren, Melinda Diane Shipp Roberts & husband, Marque and Douglas Neese; great-grandchild, Savannah Rose Roberts; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 27, 2011, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Sam Shipp officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
