Mrs. Sara Eloise Sanders

Mrs. Sara Eloise Sanders of Rockmart Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital.

 

 

 

Mrs. Sanders was born in Haralson County Georgia on September 10, 1942 to beloved parents the late Mr. Marlin Oscar Crawford and Mrs. Iva Dale Lipham Crawford. She was also preceded in death by her brother Mr. Jacky Crawford who passed away in 2009.

 

 

 

Mrs. Sanders was employed as a Lunch Room Manager for the Cobb County School System. She was a member of Yorkville Baptist Church. Mrs. Sanders enjoyed cooking, gardening and crafting. She loved and was loved by her family and will be missed by many.

 

 

 

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Mr. Doyce Sanders of Rockmart, GA; two sons Mr. Mike Sanders of Douglasville, GA and Mr. & Mrs. Victor (Cathy) Sanders of Austell, GA; one daughter Mr. & Mrs. Joel (Pam) Norton of Temple, GA; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers Mr. & Mrs. Jerry (Judy) Crawford of Carrollton, GA, Mr. Jimmy Crawford of Hamilton, AL and Mr. Larry Crawford of Bremen, GA; nieces and nephews, as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Sanders will be held at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2 pm with the Reverend Andy Fennell and Reverend Todd Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Serving as pall bearers are Preston Sanders, Justin Peak, Christopher Sanders, Kyle Sanders, Jason Wright, and Danny Wayne Swann. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Church Cemetery on Holly Springs Road in the Yorkville Community.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm; Friday, January 21, 2011 from 4 pm – 9 pm and Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 9 am until the service begins at 2 pm.
