Mrs. Evelyn Atcheson Hunt

Mrs. Evelyn Atcheson Hunt., age 95 of Dallas, GA passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell, GA.

 

 

 

Mrs. Hunt was born on July 24, 1915, the daughter of the late Mr. Jess T. Atcheson and Mrs. Tishie Rakestraw Atcheson. She was a homemaker and loved her cat.. Mrs. Hunt enjoyed quilting, sewing, shopping and cooking for her family. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Dallas.

 

 

 

Mrs. Hunt is survived by one son, Mr. Randolph (Elizabeth) J. Hunt, Jr., Marietta, GA. one daughter, Mrs. Jo Anne (Dr. James S.) Wall Jr. Huntsville, AL. Four grandchildren, Melinda (Gary) Lawson, Huntsville, AL. James S. Wall III, Huntsville, AL. Esther”Atchie “(Davy) Atcheson Wrenn, Myrtle Beach, S.C. Martha (Steve) Elliott Arsenault, Ware Shoals, S.C. Seven great grandchildren, Kimberly Redmon, Sara Beth Redmon, Michael Wall of Huntsville, AL. Amanda (Joe) Daniels, Taylors, S. C., Randi Jean Arsenaulth, Ware Shoals, S.C. Ashley (Ernesto) Hernandez, Myrtle Beach, S.C. Christopher Summers, Myrtle Beach, S.C. Four great great grandchildren, Kayleigh Daniels, Hunter Daniels, Taylors, S.C. Landen Hernandez, Emery Hernandez, Myrtle Beach, S.C. Several beloved nieces, nephews and many friends.

 

 

 

Mrs. Hunt is preceded in death by her beloved husband Randolph J. Hunt, Sr. parents Mr. Jess T. Atcheson and Mrs. Tishie Rakestraw Atcheson. One grandchild Stephen Hunt Wall. Brothers and Sisters, Paul Atcheson, Beuren Atcheson, Faye Atcheson, Nettie Atcheson, Nellie Atcheson ,Albert Eugene Atcheson and Jessie Atcheson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Hunt. will be conducted on Monday, January17, 2011 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Dr. Greg Potts officiating. Music will be provided by Sara Beth Redmon, Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden . Pall bearers will include Steve Arsenault, Clyde Childers, Davy Wrenn, Ernesto Hernandez and Johnny Campbell. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta, GA..

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 12 – 1PM.
