Virginia Pitts Gresham

Virginia Pitts Gresham, age 91, of Austell, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was born on April 28, 1919, in Orchard Hill, GA, to the late Earl and Carolyn Pitts, and was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Gresham. Mrs. Gresham was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon, GA, and retired from Middle Georgia Hospital, with 30 years of service as a Practical Nurse.

 

Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Johnny & Patsy Gresham of Juliet, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Carol & John Clark of Douglasville; sisters, Elizabeth Harper of Griffin, GA, Sarah Bowles of Americus, GA; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at 3 p.m. from Macon Memorial Park, with Reverend Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home at 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204, on January 4, 2011, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
