Wade Thompson, age 61, of Marietta, GA, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010. The son of the late, Earl Wade Thompson and the late, Emmie Janet Thompson, he was born October 8, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Thompson served in the Air National Guard. He was the former owner of Jeff-Lyn Enterprises and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Jeffery Wade Thompson of Douglasville, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Amy Meredith Thompson of Douglasville, GA and Jennifer & Jeff Moreland of Lithia Springs, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Calvin & Cindy Thompson of Dallas, GA, Victor & Peggy Thompson of Bremen, GA and Harold Thompson of Douglasville, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Gina & Phil Ballenger of Dallas, GA; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, December 24, 2010, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The body will be cremated after the visitation, per the wishes of the family.
