Rev. Donnie Chandler will officiate. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens. Visitation for Miss Degner will be Friday, December 10, 2010, 4:00-8:00 P.M. and Saturday until the time of service. Miss Degner is survived by: Sons, Andrew Word, Jacob Word and Spencer Word all of Cartersville, Ga.; Father, Mr. Richard Rakestraw of Hiram, Ga.; Mother, Mr. and Mrs. David (Lee Ann) McDaniel of Cartersville, Ga.; Brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Denise) Degner of Powder Springs, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. A.J. (Tiffany) Degner of Taylorsville, Ga.; Sisters, Ms. Elizabeth Davis of Carrollton, Ga. and Miss Stephanie Rakestraw of Hiram, Ga.; Grandmother, Mrs. Gloria Harper of Hiram, Ga. Miss Degner was preceded in death by: Grandfathers, Mr. Ralph Rakestraw and Mr. Lee Osborne; Grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Ann Osborne.
