Mrs. Ruby Jane Vaughn age 95 of Dallas Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, Ga.

 

 

 

Mrs. Ruby Vaughn was born in Blairsville, GA on August 22, 1915 the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Eugene and Lola McBee Brackett. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with flowers and loved to spend time with her family. Her family saw her as an example of the Proverbs Woman "her children arise and call her blessed". She showed her patriotism by voting at age 95 in the last election. Also, she continuously gave to insure that children throughout the world had clean drinking water.

 

 

 

Mrs. Ruby Jane Vaughn is survived by 2 daughters Mr. & Mrs. Eli (Joan) Feltner of McDonough, Ga, and Mr. & Mrs. Phillip (Nancy) Pass of Dallas, Ga; 1 son Mr. & Mrs. Eugene (Charlotte) Vaughn of Stockbridge, Ga; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mr. Jacob Harvey Vaughn, and 1 son Mr. Harvey Nei Vaughn.

 

 

 

Graveside services for Mrs. Vaughn will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 3 PM with Reverend Warren Causey officiating.

 

 

 

The family of Mrs. Vaughn will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM. There will be a procession to New Hope Cemetery
