Paulding Community Thanksgiving Meal

It's time again for the Paulding Community Thanksgiving Meal. This year we are planning for 11,000 meals.

 

1,000 will be served to the residents of Paulding County. We will do the cooking! Meals are available for dine–in, pick up or delivery within the county. If you know someone who needs or wants a meal, have them ...come out to dinner on Wednesday, November 24th between 3:00 and 7:30 or have them contact us for delivery by Tuesday, November 24th. They can call the church (770-445-2509) or sign up on the web (www.dallasfirstumc.org).

 

For the other 10,000, we will partner with Stop Hunger Now (www.stophungernow.org) to package meals that will be sent to children and families in countries all over the world.

This is such a great thing you all do for our community. We all sometimes (including myself) get wrapped up on our own little worlds and forget that there are many, many people that need assistance, especially in these bad economic times.

 

I know this must be a tremendous undertaking on the part of the church with lots of hard work, time and effort on the part of all involved in making this happen.
