Wilma Myrtle Camp Ragsdale, age 88, of Hiram, passed away on Saturday October 30, 2010. She was born on September 24, 1922, in Powder Springs, to the late William and Myrtle Camp. Mrs. Ragsdale retired from the United States Postal Service where she served 22 years, and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include, husband of 69 years, John Ragsdale; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry & Joan Ragsdale of Dallas, and Terry Ragsdale of Hiram; sisters and brother-in-law, Pauline Ward of Mableton, and Mildred & Henry Hardin of Hapeville; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010, at 2 p.m., from Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Bee Rakestraw, Larry Ragsdale, Jeff Ragsdale, Shannon Ragsdale, Will Ragsdale, and Avery Ragsdale will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 31, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

 

Omit flowers, please make donations to the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 2056 Hiram-Douglasville HWY, Hiram, GA 30141.
