Shirley Sue Byrd, age 63, of Marietta, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010. She was born in Marietta, GA, July 27, 1947. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Smyrna.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Tammy Gentry & husband, Phillip of Hiram, GA; sons & daughter-in-law, Gary Wayne Byrd of Taylorsville, GA and Anthony Ray Byrd & wife, Amanda of Taylorsville, GA; mother & father, Martha Sue & Reverend Harold Byrd of Hiram, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Audie Byrd & wife, Samantha of Hiram, GA; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 29, 2010, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Harold Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park, with Andy Bryant, David White, Joel Mahaney, Mike Bell, Richie Bell and Billy Gann serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
