Gail Walden, age 52, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010. She was born December 2, 1957, in Atlanta, to Hall & Sarah Smith. Mrs. Walden had worked as a nursing assistant for Wellstar Cobb Hospital and as a photographer for Olan Mills.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Tim Walden; daughter, Christine Walden of Powder Springs; parents, Hall & Sarah Smith of Hiram; sisters & brothers-in-law, Dale & Jackie Prater of Hiram, Denise & Osie Black of Dallas, and Beth Williams of Hiram; mother-in-law, Gladys Walden of Powder Springs; brother-in-law, Jackie & Teresa Walden of Powder Springs; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Tommy Tidwell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
