Mr. Philip Clark, age 48, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at WellStar Paulding Hospital.

 

 

 

Mr. Clark was born on January 15, 1962 in Hudson, Michigan, the son of Shirley Eleanor Andrew and Marvin Duane Clark. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of West Hills Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Clark enjoyed hunting and fishing.

 

 

 

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of eight years, Yolanda Hunt Clark of Dallas, Ga., 2 sons, Mr. Kyle Petty of Michigan and Mr. Dominique Bedford of Dallas, Ga., 3 daughters, Ms. Jasmine Roundtree of Dallas, Ga., Ms. Shauna Clark of Valdosta, GA, and Ms. Rebecca Clark of Valdosta, Ga. his parents Mr. Marvin (Shirley) Clark of Waldron, MI; 2 brothers, Mr. Joel Clark of Alaska and Mr. Michael Clark of Seattle, WA; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lori Brown of Alabama and Mr. & Mrs. Russell (Cheryl) Shankster of Michigan, 2 sister in laws, Maria Hunt and Michelle Hunt, one brother in law, Yougaman Williams, and many nieces and nephews.

 

 

 

Mr. Clark is preceded in death by one son, Mr. Brian Clark.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Philip Clark will be conducted on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Tyler Brown and Rev. Robbie Hurd officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens, Villa Rica, Ga. Pall bearers will include Willie Rachel, Kenneth Hutchinson, Dominique Bedford, James Scott, Russell Shankster and Isaac Shankster. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 5PM until 9PM, and on Wednesday October 6, 2010 from 9 AM until time of service.
