Mrs. Elizabeth A. Pope of Winder Georgia passed away on August 26, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

 

 

 

Mrs. Pope was born on June 24, 1945 in Douglasville, Ga, the daughter of the late Mr. Henry David Kite and Mrs. Garon Beatrice Vietch Kite. She worked as a cashier at Kroger.

 

 

 

Mrs. Elizabeth Pope is survived by 4 sons Mr. & Mrs. Scott (Rhonda) Pope of Jasper, Ga; Mr & Mrs. Keith (Christine) Pope of Alto, Ga; Mr. & Mrs. Greg (Brenda) Pope and Mr. Lyle Pope all of Dallas, Ga; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers Mr. Ernest Kite and Mr. Howard Kite both of Dallas, Ga; nieces, nephews and many other beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Beatrice Kite, 2 sisters Mrs. Opal Ewning and Mrs. Irene Powell, and 1 brother Mr. Gordon Kite.

 

 

 

A memorial service for Mrs. Pope will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday September 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. The family requests that instead of flowers you honor Mrs. Pope’s life by making a donation to the American Heart Association in her honor.
