Mrs. Myrtle Swann Brown

Mrs. Myrtle Swann Brown age 74, of Dallas Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

 

 

 

Mrs. Brown was born on March 18, 1936 in Buchanan, Ga, the daughter of the late Elijah Edgar Swann and Annie Lurra Gentry Swann. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, painting and bird watching.

 

 

 

Mrs. Brown is survived by 3 sons Mr. & Mrs. Ricky (Stacey) Brown, Mr. Randy Brown both of Dallas, Ga, Mr. Rex Brown of Aragon, Ga; 5 grandchildren Richie Brown, Amy Brown, Stevi Brown, Christopher Brown, and Stacey Brown; 2 sisters Mr. & Mrs. Skipper (Shirley) Lane of Hartwell, Ga, Ms. Joyce Thaxton of Rockmart, Ga; 3 brothers Mr. Seborn Swann of Buchanan, Ga, Mr. & Mrs. Doyrce (Martha) Swann of Temple, Ga, Mr. & Mrs. Charles (Lillie) Swann of Rockmart, Ga; many nieces and nephews as well as other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her beloved husband Mr. William Raymond Brown who passed away in 1988, a son Mr. Ray Brown who passed away in 2003, 3 brothers Mr. B.F. Swann, Mr. Mallie Swann and Mr. Joe Swann.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown will be held at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 2 PM with the Reverend Jimmy Coffman officiating. Music will be provided by Loyd and Lori Locklear. Pallbearers will include Danny Swann, Kenneth Swann, Skipper Lane, Jarod Pelosi, Dwayne Hummett, and David Baxter. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

 

 

 

Mrs. Brown will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday September 3, 2010 from 4 PM – 9 PM and Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 9 AM until the service begins at 2 PM.
