Graveside Services for Mr. Walter Lawrence Thompson, Sr., age 75, of Douglasville, Ga. (Paulding County) will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010, 1:30 P.M. at Paulding Memorial Gardens. Rev. Stephen Byrd will officiate.

 

Visitation for Mr. Thompson will be Monday 6:00-9:00, Tuesday 11:00-2:00 and 6:00-9:00, Wednesday, 12:00-1:00.

 

Mr. Thompson is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Jean Thompson of Douglasville, Ga.; Sons, Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Denise) Thompson, Jr. of Bremen, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. Marc C. (Cindy) Thompson of Douglasville, Ga.; Daughter, Ms. Sheri L. Wallace of Douglasville, Ga.; Seven Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin G. (Suzanne) Thompson, III of Gulf Breeze, Fl. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Beverly) Thompson of Auburn, AL.; Sister, Ms. Dorothy Sheffield of Douglasville, Ga.; Nieces and Nephews.

 

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin G. (Mary Agnes Cookingham) Thompson.
