Funeral Director Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 Mr. Gregory Lee Monk passed away at his residence on Wednesday August 25, 2010. Mr. Monk was born in Paulding County Georgia on November 30, 1959. He was the son of loving parents Mr. Sharon Monk and Mrs. Ruth Ferguson Monk. He was self-employed and worked in construction. Mr. Monk is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Melanie Ruff Monk, 1 son Mr. & Mrs. Rusty Lee (Jessica) Monk, 1 stepson Mr. Blake McCullough, his mother Mrs. Ruth Monk, 2 sisters Mrs. Pat Morgan and Mr. & Mrs. Dale (Sara) Ragsdale, 1 brother Mr. & Mrs. Terry (Melissa) Monk all of Dallas, Ga; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved father Mr. Sharon Monk who passed away in 1993, 1 brother Mr. Boyd Monk who passed away in 1995 and 1 brother in law Mr. Bobby Morgan who passed away in 2009. Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Monk will be held on Sunday August 29, 2010 at 2 PM with Reverend Steve Griggers, Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts, and Mr. Lee Ridings officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Charles Cole. Pallbearers will include John Monk, Tim Ridings, Billy Holland, Danny Walsh, Blake McCullough, Keith Lee. Interment will follow at Ferguson Cemetery. Mr. Monk will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Saturday August 28, 2010 from 3 PM – 9 PM, and Sunday August 29, 2010 from 9 AM until the service begins at 2 PM.
