Eloise C. Dowdy, age 89, of Stockbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. The daughter of the late, Seaborn Wright Jones, Sr. and the late, Alice Josephine McCoy Jones, she was born March 31, 1921, in Lithonia, GA. She worked for Mead Products for 20 years.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Gail Dowdy of Powder Springs, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Bobby & Jean Jones of Snellville, GA; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 1, 2010, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 4:00 PM, from Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Stockbridge, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
