Mc2
July 18, 2010/ Paulding County, GA - Darwin Carter, Republican candidate for Georgia Agricultural Commissioner released a statement for Paulding County voters that the Georgia Ethics Commission has no ethics. “I read with interest this evening a story in the Atlanta Journal Constitution that reported on ethics violations at the state's Ethics Commission. It seems that the two attorneys working there were moonlighting on the side to feather their own nest; using state equipment, state computers, and abusing sick leave time. The story details how two corrupt attorneys have been running our state's Ethics Commission.
Mc2
Nobody cares about this? Or is it just so self-evident?
lotstodo
A link or full reference to the AJC article would be nice. It's kind of hard to comment on without information.
surepip
I saw the story on WSB last week, but the fact it was the Ethics Commission was almost in parenthesis. It was more geared as to how these dudes started up their law firm while still working for the state, and used state computers, other supplies, and their paid time to get their business up and going.....and then quit. The Ethics Committee itself is packed with legislators and Senators all whom were Richardson cronies. Nuff Said ?
