David Burns
Local schools are very important to the real estate market. Buyers with children will rule out properties with under-performing schools. Even buyers without children are looking for areas with new schools, schools with higher progress statistics and those awarded for excellence. This is because schools are a driving force for the community. Better schools attract higher-class residents, businesses and organizations. Buyers looking for an up-and-coming community are ultimately basing their decision on the quality of the schools.
