Mrs. Maria Alvarez age 58 of Atlanta, Ga passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 at her home.

 

 

 

Mrs. Maria Alvarez was born on December 7, 1951 in San Jose de la Paz, Mexico; the daughter of Tiburcio Nicolese Arellano and Ramona Torres. She worked as a housekeeper for the Emory Conference Center Hotel. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and playing the lottery. She always looked forward to her visits to Mexico. She was a very humorous person that loved to laugh and spend time with her grandchildren and family.

 

 

 

Mrs. Alvarez is survived by 2 daughters Mr. & Mrs. Ronnie (Sandra) Peebles, and Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Elsa) Brassell all of Dallas, Ga; 7 grandchildren Karina Leon, Brittany Peebles, Vanessa Peebles, Noriana Peebles, Elisa Brassell, Pamela Brassess, Princesa Brassell, her mother Ramona Arellano of Mexico; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved father Tiburcio Nicolese Arellano.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Alvarez will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Dallas, Ga on Friday June 25, 2010 at 4 PM with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Pallbearers will include Ronnie Peebles, Jr. Ronnie Peebles, Sr., Johnathan Churchwell, Mike Wood, Mark Rogers and Robert Brassell. The family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday June 26, 2010 from 11 AM - 1 PM when we will have a prayer service. Interment will follow at New Hope Memory Gardens.
