Mrs. Willie Mae Ford age 80 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on June 11, 2010. She was born on August 20, 1929 the daughter of the late Lemon Willis Rainey and Lillie Mae Gazaway. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She loved to crochet and go to yards sales.

 

 

 

Mrs. Willie Mae Ford is survived by one son Lonnie Rainey of Douglasville, Ga. One Grandson Keith Rainey of Emerson, Ga. Three Great Grandchildren. One sister Lee and Ann Gurley of Dallas, Ga. One brother Owen and Margie Rainey of Dallas, Ga. Several nieces and nephews and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dillenger Ford, parents Lemon Willis Rainey and Lillie Mae Rainey, sisters Maggie Smith and Lona Hogue, brother Jimmy Rainey.

 

 

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 14, 2010 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Gurley officiating. Music will be provided by Frances George. Pallbearers will include Rodney Copeland, Matt Gurley, Garrett Gurley, Jimmy Peal, Jeff Priest and Johnny Shoemack . Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3PM until 8PM and Monday 9AM until the service begins at 4PM.
