A year and half ago Wayne Landers went to sleep in death. He was admired and loved by all those who knew him, he never met a stranger. He was happy and loved Jehovah. yet you may not know why this man was so happy, so content and loved Jehovah so much.

It was the love of an incredible woman. Kinder and more soft spoken than any we have ever met. They finished each others sentences. When she was drawn by Jehovah to his organization, her care, example and conduct moved him to do the same. This beautiful lady taught so many to know and love Jehovah, including her children. Wayne always said how much smarter she was than he. Dean loved God's word and received the respect of her husband for her actions.

She was the park where the family played, loved and resided in comfort. She was beautiful inside and out. In 1965 she won the Miss Lawrence County beauty contest yet this was not important to her. A few years later she received the real gift, becoming one of Jehovah's servants. She was elegant, humble and generous to all, a real lady in the eyes of Jehovah. Wayne cared for his love over eight years after she found out she had Alzheimer's until his death. Now with soft skin and pretty brown eyes, the love of Wayne's life Syble Dean Landers went to sleep in Jehovah's Memory along side of the love of her life "Wayno". We are longing for the day when our family will be made whole again in the promised Paradise. Mom was 63 years of age at the time of her death and as beautiful as ever. She was born January 27, 1947 just 7 days after Wayne, both were raised in Hatton Alabama. Mom leaves Michael and Angie, her beloved children. Joshua and Abigail her cherished grandchildren and Mar and Marina her beloved son and daughter in laws. She always called Marc "A Good Man" and she loved him as her son. From the time of our earliest memories we can see her teaching us Jehovah's ways. She had three brothers and one sister; Joe, Zeke, Rickey and Wanda. Joe also serves Jehovah now with his dear wife Becky thanks to the loving efforts of Dean. All the people she touched, loved her and remember her as she was, a teacher, loving wife and mother, sister, daughter and friend.

When Jehovah looks over the life of one of his faithful servants what does he see? In this case he sees a woman of faith and he will never forget the love that she continued to show throughout her life.

So Wayne knew perfectly who he had by his side for 43 1/2 years and we know that her love for him never died. Mom, your hands cared for us all our lives and your teaching's are still caring for us now. Your families love will never die.

We love you momma, see you soon in the park. Proverbs 31: 10,11,12,30

Dean's Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Decatur AL at 2:00 CST Saturday June 12, 2010.
