Local Memorial Day Rememberance

Just wondering if anyone knows what Memorial Day rememberance

and honoring events will be held locally.

 

I'd really like to participate in some type of event.

 

Does anyone have recommendations?

The Cub Scouts are putting flags on the fallen soldiers graves that are buried in the cemetery at Smyrna Methodist Church on Buchanan Hwy. (this morning)

 

The Legion usually has a very moving ceremony on Monday at the Memorial near the square on Monday morning. Not sure if they still do this since the College has moved in to the old Admin. building in front of it.
