Mr. Tony R. Freeman age 71, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Sunday

 

May 2, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Freeman was born in Paulding County on April 1, 1939 the son of the late Marvin Heslip Freeman and Mattie Cole Freeman. He was retired from Lucent Technology. Mr. Tony R. Freeman was an honorably discharged Army Veteran. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

 

Mr. Tony R. Freeman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sonjia Hulsey Freeman of Dallas, Ga.; daughter and son in law, Peggy Faye & John Isaacs of Dallas, Ga.; son and daughter in law, Danny Ray and Marian Freeman of Dallas, Ga.; grandson, Kasey Freeman; granddaughter, Desirae Gable; sister and brother in law, Frances & Jerry Baker of Fish Creek, Ga.; 2 brothers & sister in law, Lance & Joan Freeman of Rockmart, Ga. and Frankie Freeman of Woodstock, Ga; many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Heslip and Mattie Freeman, and one brother, Dorvile Freeman.

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Bell officiating. Music will be provided by Susan Forrester and Nathan Forrester. The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 5, 2010 from 11 AM until the service begins at 4PM. Following the services the body will be cremated.
