Mrs. Sarah Inez Earwood age 91 of Dallas Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

 

 

 

Mrs. Earwood was born on September 4, 1918 in Paulding County Georgia, the daughter of the late Pearl Samantha Ruff Hillard and Robert Lee Hillard. Mrs. Earwood worked as a Labor and Delivery LPN at Cartersville Medical Center, where she retired at the age of 70. She was a member of Mt. View Church of God. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, sewing, and crafting.

 

 

 

Mrs. Sarah Earwood is survived by 4 daughters Mr. & Mrs. Bob (Faye) Lohr of Florida, Mr. & Mrs. Harold (Ann) Stone of Silver Creek, Mr. & Mrs. Bob (Mary) Fleet of Dallas, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Rick (Pat) Stover of Alabama; 3 sons Mr. & Mrs. J.W. (Annette) Earwood of Silver Creek, Mr. Ronald Earwood, and Mr. Tim Earwood both of Dallas, GA; and 1 brother Mr. & Mrs. Grover (Virginia) Hillard of Dallas, GA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Matthew Earwood, who passed away in 1995; 2 sons Charles LeRoy Earwood and Master Harold Earwood; 1 daughter Barbara Worthy Earwood.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Earwood will be held at Mt. View Church of God, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11 AM with Reverend Grover Hilliard, Reverend Kenny Jacobs and Reverend James Tidwell officiating. Music will be provided by Doyle Ruff, The Melody Boys and Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

 

 

 

Mrs. Earwood will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home were the family will receive friends Wednesday April 7, 2010 from 4 PM - 9 PM and Thursday April 8, 2010 from 9 AM - 10:30 AM.
