Funeral Director Posted April 5, 2010 Report Share Posted April 5, 2010 Mrs. Ella Estelle Holland age 89 of Dallas, Ga passed away on April 3, 2010. She was born in Paulding County on January 5, 1921 the daughter of the late Zollie Walker and Josie Parks Walker. Mrs. Ella Estelle Holland was preceded in death by her husband, James Louie Holland. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Ella Estelle Holland was survived by one son & daughter in law, Barnard "Buck" & Bertie Holland of Dallas, Ga.; 2 daughters, Margene Harris of Dallas, Ga and Glenda Lindsey of Rockmart, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Keith Strickland, Randall Holland, Amanda Holland Bergbauer, Michael Lindsey; 6 great grandchildren, Jennifer Strickland, Nick Holland, Slayton Holland, Brianna Holland, Holly Herron, Brandon Lindsey, Emma Grace Holland; 1 great great grandson, Kalob Slater;1 great great granddaughter, Emma Grace Lindsey; 2 sisters, Hazel Hall and Gladys Strickland both of Dallas, Ga., many nieces, nephews and many other beloved family members and friends. Mrs. Ella Estelle Holland was preceded in death by her husband, James Louie Holland; parents, Zollie & Josie Walker; grandson, Keith Strickland; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral service for Mrs. Ella Estelle Holland will be held on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 2 PM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts, Reverend Todd Tibbitts and Reverend Herschel Tibbitts officiating. Music will be provided by the Tibbitts Family. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will include Randall Holland, Mike Lindsey, Al Walker, Brandon Lindsey, Nick Holland, Slayton Holland. Honorary Bearers will include Joe Bergbauer, Jackson Walker, Charles Holland, David Eaves, Jimmy Wages, Tony Walker, J-Bo Wages. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday April 5, 2010 from 5PM until 9PM and on Tuesday from 9AM until leaving in procession for the church at approximately 1:30 pm.
