Mrs. Doris Carolyn Maulding Camp "Maw" age 85 of Dallas Georgia passed away Tuesday February, 2, 2010 after a brief illness.

 

 

 

Mrs. Camp "Maw" as she was affectionately known was born on July 3, 1924 in Dallas Ga, the daughter of the late Charles E. Maulding and Burnice Thompson Maulding. Mrs. Camp loved her family and spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church, where she treated each and every member like family. She enjoyed spending time with her dog "Sugar", talking on the phone and watching America's Most Wanted.

 

 

 

Mrs. Camp is survived by her 2 daughters Mr. & Mrs. Steve (Carol) Rogers and Mr. & Mrs. Keith (Cynthia) Fennell both of Piedmont, Al; one son Mr. & Mrs. Edmond (Debbie) Camp of Dallas, Ga; 5 grandchildren Chad Fennell, Keisha Cline, Kim Rogers, Jenna Thornton and Raegan Camp; 5 great grandchildren Gavin Rogers, Abie Cline, Luke Thornton, Bo Cline and Clay Thornton; one sister in law Doris Baggett of Dallas Ga. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mr. Gerald C. Camp, parents Mr. & Mrs. Charles and Burnice Maulding, and one brother Mr. Dean Maulding.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Camp will be held at Unity Baptist Church Thursday February 4, 2010 at 11 AM with the Reverends Donald Voyles, Benny Abney, and Keith Fennell officiating. Music will be provided by Keisha Cline. Pallbearers will include Chad Fennell, Kenneth Thompson, Jason Cline, Matt Thornton, Phillip Baggett, and Joel Baggett. Interment will follow at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

Visitation for Mrs. Camp will be held Wednesday February 3, 2010 from 6 PM - 9 PM and Thursday February 4, 2010 from 9 AM until 10:30 AM when we leave in procession for the church.
