+subby1
And this aint the first time it's happened. A good friend of mine brought his riding mower to 2 very reputable shops (in the Rockmart area)....both shops said his transaxle box (transmission) was shot, because it would not shift gears at all. Replacement tranny price??? $240!!! He brought it to me....I fixed the supposedly "unrepariable" transmission, as well as a few other items that the shops told him had to be replaced. He would have wound up spending over $550 for just the transmission, plus replacement/installation costs....closer to $700 when you include the whole kit'n'kaboodle. Long story, short.... His mower runs like a top-dog, new one, gears shift like brand new, and some 5 other broken items were repaired, plus entire machine was pressure washed and tuned up.....his total bill was about the same as the price of buying a new transmission....not counting labor or removal and re-installation, nor the other $300 worth of things that was wrong with it. I saved this guy approx. $500 or more. I just LOVE IT, when someone brings me something that shops say cannot be repaired, just so I can repair it!! It makes me feel good and confident in what I do, and it saves my clients 2/3 of what they would have spent elsewhere. I absolutely cannot stand someone bragging on themselves, and I don't mean to do this either....but just to let you know...I am very GOOD at what I do, and I can save you a ton of money, all the while just pleasing myself in what I can accomplish. I really love doing what other people say can't be done...that's my all time favorite!!! Give me a call......let me do for you what you will not get anywhere else, in lawn mower repair quality!!!
