Mr. Jack Joseph King, age 81, of Dallas, Ga. passed Away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at his residence. Mr. King was born on June 30, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to the late Mr. Leroy King and the late Mrs. Lela Mae Pryor King. Mr. King was married to the late Mrs. Marell Morris King.

Mr. King was employed as a machinist with Withers Machine works.

 

Services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Benson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Mauldin. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens in Dallas, Ga.

 

Mr. King's family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2009 from 5 - 8 PM and on Friday from 4 - 9 PM.

 

Survivors include: Daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Donald (Charlene) Roche of Dallas, Ga. and Katura (Kristen King) King of Dallas, Ga. Son: Mr. & Mrs. Larry Ray (Belinda) King of Chatsworth, Ga. Grandchildren: Mr. & Mrs. Allen (Leslie) Moody, Megan King, Larry King, Jr., Miranda King, Stefen Peterson, James Peterson; Great Grandchildren, Aaron Moody, Cohen Molina, Berkeley Molina; Sister, Barbara Wenig of Pittsburgh, Pa. Brother: Mr. & Mrs. Don (Sharlyn) King of Sardis, Oh.

 

Preceded In Death By: Wife, Mrs. Marell King; Parents, Mr. & Mrs. Leroy (Lela Mae) King; Brother, Mr. Leroy King; Sister, Mrs. Clara Filipiak Sister: Mrs. Lela Mae Karges; Brother, Mr. Roy King.
